Experience: At least 8-10 years

Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Computer Engineering with over 8 years of relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Engineering's product development strategies and business initiatives for recommending PLM and Engineering Application solutions
  • Guiding internal and external PLM Technical teams
  • Collaborating with business leaders and IT directors to grasp business strategies and initiatives impacting project needs for PLM work
  • Driving the architecture and contributing technical expertise to the development of PLM architecture strategies and IT architecture roadmap, focusing primarily on Teamcenter/Active Workspace functions
  • Leading PLM Pilots with Customers to ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Defining and executing the PLM architecture roadmap
  • Providing technical and functional guidance for the planning, architecture, deployment, and integration of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform
  • Advising system administrators on infrastructure needs and Agile software development environments
  • Implementing master data processes like Material Master, Engineering Change Management, Bills of Materials Management, etc.
  • Handling technical issues in Teamcenter Implementations and serving as the go-to person for complex problems in Production environments
  • Testing new releases of PLM tools before deployment
  • Conducting system analysis, tuning, and optimization on the PLM server
  • Managing PLM vendor relationships and maintaining PLM Software inventory
  • Writing PR's/ER's for Dana PLM environment using Siemens GTAC site
  • Designing/architecting Teamcenter/Active Workspace Solutions for client and server
  • Supporting bulk migration of data into Teamcenter
