Package Specialist: SAP Application Security

Introduction

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, where we provide technical expertise to a variety of public and private sector clients globally. Our delivery centers offer clients local skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and technology adoption.

As an Application Package Specialist, you'll assist clients in the selection, implementation, and support of application packaged solutions. You'll develop consulting skills, business knowledge, and solution expertise to integrate technology effectively into clients' businesses. Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Role as SAP subject matter expert/architect for Security.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to translate user requirements into SAP IT scope.
  • Evaluate impact on applications and connected systems, estimate schedule and efforts for solution implementation, and ensure successful technical delivery.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 6-12 years of solid SAP Security Implementation experience focusing on Role authorizations.
  • Hands-on experience in ECC 6.0 role build.
  • Experience in leading SAP security projects and working with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SOD (segregation of duties).
  • Ability to gather technical requirements, develop prototypes, and recommend solutions based on limited business information.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience in SOX/GRC Control.
