We are currently seeking a Digital Engineering Staff Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Development
Analysis, design, and development and testing including full system design, estimating project hours and managing implementations.
Support
Handles escalated problems with technical or process issues, both during normal and after hours.
Provide problem analysis, measurement, and process methodology.
Work with offshore development team on an as needed basis
Administrative
Interact with Business Partners, internal and external, to design/develop solutions for business needs.
Participate in team meetings and meetings with the business.
Stay up to date with emerging technology trends, policies, and procedures to provide relevant architectural input and recommendations as needed.
Other duties as needed/assignedMinimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
10 years of Java/J2EE development using Spring Framework
Experience with JavaScript Libraries (like jQuery), HTML, CSS
Experience with the Eclipse and RAD Development Environment
Exposure to Web Services development
Experience with Apache HTTP Server
Exposure to Unix/Linux
5 years of experience working with databases.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Requirements:
Exposure to Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Veracode, Subversion
IBM WebSphere (HCL Dig. Exp.) Portlet experience
Experience working with MS SQL
WebSphere Administration
Exposure to IIS .Net is a plus.
Knowledge of ISAM (Reverse Proxy)
