Role : Cloud Engineer

Team : The Cloud Automation team is tasked to support our InnerSource program called "Cloud Blueprints". The program supports our OnPrem to Cloud and application modernization programs. It aims to provide capabilities to DevOps and TechOps teams to manage their cloud environment, whether that's in AWS, Google Cloud or Azure in a consistent, secure, and efficient way. The team does this by maintaining Terraform modules, and CI/CD templates, etc., and supporting other teams to maintain and use these projects.

Impact : The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for supporting the internal community with guidance on how to maintain and use "blueprints". This includes removing any impediments that may cause internal contributors to experience issues when contributing. This can be by providing documentation, fixing broken pipelines, updating projects, and training colleagues.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain blueprints to support Cloud Migrations and application modernization initiatives.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to help grow the Cloud Blueprints program.
  • Support product development and TechOps teams to implement blueprints to speed up OnPrem to Cloud migration initiates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve impediments for development of blueprints, such as pipeline failures and process optimization.

Skills :

  • Good communication skills both in writing and verbal communication
  • Hands on experience with AWS Services, and preferably Azure Web Services and/or Google Cloud (GCP)
  • Scripting and programming (shell, Python, Terraform, PowerShell, and preferably Go or other programming languages)
