Job Title: Physician

Job Location: Mysore

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate medical professional to join our team. The Physician will be responsible for conducting pre-insurance medical examination. This includes diagnosing a wide range of illnesses for insurance applicants during pre-insurance medical check-up and suggesting any additional tests if required based on clinical presentation. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient assessment.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations of patients.

2. Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.

3. Review Pre-policy lab results.

4. Order additional tests if required and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests,

X-rays, and imaging studies.

5. Collaborate with other professionals, such as underwriters, nurses, specialists, and

allied health professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, including notes on

examinations, diagnoses, test reports etc.

7. Stay informed about developments in the field of medicine and Insurance, including new treatment modalities, medications, and guidelines, and incorporate evidence-

based practices into clinical care.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Medical degree (MBBS) from an accredited medical school.

2. Valid state medical license and/or MCI registration.

3. 2 years+ experience in a high-volume hospital and/or clinic

4. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

5. Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical

conditions.

6. Any experience of working in Insurance sector or knowledge of Insurance is preferred

7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with

patients and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

8. Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

10. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

11. Dedication to maintaining professional competence through ongoing education and

training.

12. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

(ACLS).

13. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

14. Fluency in Kannada preferred.

Working Conditions:


• The Clinic Physician will primarily work in a clinic setting, with regular hours.


• The position may involve some travel to attend meetings, conferences, or professional

development activities.
