Meet our Team

The India Strategy & Innovation team is part of the Global Supply department at Agoda. We collaborate closely with the sales team in India to identify growth opportunities, conduct experiments, and optimize accommodation supplies for the company.

The Role:

As a Senior Analyst / Lead, your primary goal is to lead analysis and provide data insights to support our hotel partners in expanding their presence on Agoda. You will leverage data to enhance transparency, efficiency, and guide the Business Development teams on the ground to grow the business effectively. Your role involves ensuring data consistency for reporting, identifying value-added insights, and making strategic business decisions based on data analysis.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze and create reports and models for performance tracking and optimization, offering recommendations based on your analysis
  • Develop and streamline reports to help team members understand business performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct independent ad-hoc analysis on business trends, communicate results effectively to key stakeholders, and provide input on projects to achieve business targets
  • Suggest new metrics, techniques, and strategies to enhance team performance and measurement
  • Hone your analytical skills to understand business drivers and optimize conversions
  • Deliver high-quality reports and insights to leadership on a regular basis
  • Thrive in a data-driven environment
  • Implement innovative solutions to unique challenges through creative thinking
  • Collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Data Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, or similar software
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data for decision-making
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in resolving complex issues using data
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex ideas clearly
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
