Summary / Role Purpose

Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to support our customers across the globe on all the aspects of their real-world engineering simulation projects and integration of Ansys software in their design workflows and grow Ansys' business. You will use engineering knowledge to provide technical post-sales support, find solutions to a wide variety of technical challenges and channel customer feedback to improve Ansys products. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of simulation techniques of Ansys Fluids (CFD) products to provide highest level technical support to customers and channel partners across the globe.
  • Leverage subject matter experts, Ansys knowledge and Large Language Models (LLM) to ensure high-quality, timely customer service that results in customer satisfaction while adhering to support processes and best practices.
  • Develop technical expertise in one or more simulation areas.
  • Stay updated with capabilities of the latest Ansys product releases.
  • Developing simulation best practices, solutions, FAQs for knowledge base.
  • Submit suggestions for product improvement. File defect reports and verify fixes adhering to defect reporting processes.
  • Participate in field testing of new releases to ensure that new features and workflows will address customer requirements.
  • On an as-needed basis, support Sales and Marketing by conducting demonstrations, webinars, online training, and other meetings.
  • Be agile and open to new responsibilities based on the business need.
  • Participate in other strategic team and company initiatives, as needed.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace/mechanical/chemical engineering or related engineering field
  • Sound Knowledge of Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to implement numerical models to obtain practical engineering solutions to difficult problems.
  • Engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous learning
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a diverse team environment.
  • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Interested in working with customers.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree in aerospace/mechanical/chemical engineering or related engineering field
  • Knowledge of the use of Ansys Fluids (CFD) products or other commercial or in-house CFD codes is a plus (can be obtained or partially obtained in a university setting).
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Interest in Generative AI based tools.
  • Willingness to travel (10% of time)
