  • Setup High-Availability techniques like Always ON, Mirroring as part of Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases, troubleshooting issues. Utilize your extensive experience to design, implement, and maintain high-performance SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Perform in-depth performance tuning and optimization, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and other related issues. Analyze wait events and proactively address performance challenges to ensure smooth and efficient database operations.
  • Oversee and manage database replication strategies, including setup, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of replication in Standalone and Always ON. Implement and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) processes to enable real-time data integration and synchronization across databases.
  • Monitor database health using various tools, set up alerting mechanisms, and respond to incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime and data loss. Database upgrades, migrations, and patching while minimizing risks and downtime on both Standalone and Aways ON.
  • Document database configurations, processes, and best practices, contributing to the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SQL Server database administration.
