The Impact:

This role offers an experienced software developer the chance to influence the direction of the Equity Bookrunning platform within GMG (Global Markets Group) as we transition to Agile methodologies and cutting-edge technologies. As a software engineer on the Equity team, you'll cultivate a cohesive team dynamic and utilize your collaborative skills while closely collaborating with internal business partners to improve our flagship product. This position involves modernizing our technology stack, introducing new features, and optimizing our solution in the cloud.

What's in it for you:

Technically as a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply existing and emerging technologies to build mission critical solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining market leading Equity Bookrunning platform using Microsoft's .NET Framework and migrating the existing C++ / COM components to latest technology stack. Your strong proficiency with C++ , C#, and SQL programming will be used extensively in this role. In addition to the design and development work, you will be required to take on initiatives and collaborate extensively with stakeholders and within the development team to achieve positive outcomes. You will be working with highly skilled, forward-thinking software professionals who share a common vision of quality, integrity, and efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement & maintain heavily transactional and multi-tiered & distributed Web applications & services.
• Proven experience as a C++ .NET Developer with strong proficiency in WTL / ALT and COM.
• Strong RDBMS Concepts
• Provide level 2 & 3 support for the application.
• Assist & Mentor developers in understanding existing C++ / COM components and able to contribute to the modernization of these components to latest tech stack.
• Work with Architecture team to modernize the application and optimize our solution.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 10+ Years in building large scale web-based systems in a C++ & Microsoft Environment (.Net Framework, C#, & SQL Server or related).
• Solid experience with C++, .Net & MS SQL Server
• Ability to effectively communication both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in team-oriented environment and can work independently.
• Experience working in an Agile Development environment is preferred.

The following experience would be advantageous:

• Knowledge of WTL (Windows Template Library) for developing Windows applications in C++ Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Angular 2+ SOA / jQuery / HTML5 / Restful APIs
• .Net Framework / .Net Core and ORMs Knowledge
• WCF, Windows Services, Integration services experience, especially with MQ Series or Web Services
• Financial domain knowledge is plus.
