You will be working as Project Engineer – Automation at global grade 15 / 14 and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.

Your responsibilities
  • Responsible for startup and commissioning, troubleshooting of system and technical support
  • Focusing and leading standardization activities to enhance productivity of engineering
  • Implementing of reusable solutions, quality deliverables and accountability for on time delivery
  • Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments
  • Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities
  • Preparing project documentation within one's scope of deliverables
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree of diploma in engineering
  • Require 2 – 7 years of experience in configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for chemical and specialty chemical segments
  • Hands on experience in automation(electrical or process automation) products like PLC, Scada and DCS with focus on providing packaged solutions
  • Industrial Automation experience from similar companies as ABB, end-customers and ability to design and deliver automation solutions by being part of the team /and /or as an individual contributor
  • Good knowledge /experience of development of software for the process as relevant to the industry domain
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
