Role Overview:This position is for a Software Development Engineer in Test for the McAfee Consumer team and will be responsible for developing, applying & maintaining quality standards for the consumer security products. The candidate should be able to interact with other stakeholders and follow the agile methodology.

This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About The Role:

  • Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Develops and executes software test plans, analyzes, and writes test standards & procedures, Maintains and reports documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
  • Preparation for Test environment and Automation of Test Cases.
  • Take active participation in Code Reviews, Code Inspections, and Peer Reviews.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

About You:

  • Should have at least 6+ years of experience in testing domain and automation.
  • Strong experience in Black box test techniques & methodologies
  • Experience in Python and Java scripting.
  • Experience in API testing, preferably Karate framework is good to have.
  • Tools like Selenium/Appium /Pytest would be an added advantage.
  • Good track record of analyzing and debugging issues.
