Lead development of total rewards philosophy in line with overall HR strategy, and business objectives

  • Assist in development of global compensation and benefits & HRIS budgets and ensure adherence to the budgets
  • Contribute to development of global strategies and policies from compensation & HRIS considerations
  • Drive implementation of Compensation & Benefits strategy and ensure compliance with applicable statutes, legislations and market competitiveness
  • Create / redesign compensation and benefits structure and collaborate with Finance team to understand financial constraints of the organization; Ensure taxeffectiveness of compensation & benefits structure
  • Devise rewards plans (short term and long term incentive plans) and submit the same for consideration of the Senior Management
  • Engage with OD and L&D team to ensure alignment of variable pay components to individual performance as observed in PLVA cycle; Develop guidelines for increment model and ensure alignment with compensation philosophy and market positioning
  • Coordinate with third party specialists / consultants for annual compensation and benefits benchmarking surveys, and integrate relevant aspects into SCIL compensation to ensure competitiveness
  • Periodically evaluate cost effectiveness and competitiveness of current compensation programs; Implement changes when necessary, in consultation with Senior Management
  • Lead compensation & benefits administration process and ensure that policies, procedures, and reporting practices comply with corporate governance standards and applicable legislations
  • Establish governance mechanisms & process control measures to ensure accurate computation of compensation (salaries and incentives) and appropriate delivery of benefits
  • Establish compensation & benefits queries/ issue resolution mechanisms; Ensure timely resolution of issues and provide inputs for resolution of complex issues
  • Guide site HR teams on compensation and benefits related policies & processes; Partner with site HR / HR Generalists for process improvements to ensure effective delivery of compensation
  • Service Delivery
  • Ensure timely payment of salaries, accurate disbursal of benefits leading to full and final settlements and issue of appropriate documentation to employees
  • Plan and rollout annual increments in consultation with Senior Management aligned to budgets, compa ratio targets, market positioning and individual performance vis vis current pay status
  • Lead creation and delivery of training and information sessions on Compensation & Benefits for site HR, HR Generalists and employees; Guide development of compensation & benefits communication materials/ documents
  • Maintain business relationships with employee benefits providers and review performance to ensure adherence to SLAs; Take measures to improve performance
  • Develop key performance metrics for designated compensation processes; Measure and analyze the effectiveness of compensation programs and process delivery
  • Policies & Processes
  • Develop user friendly HRIS policies and processes in alignment with business requirements and management guidelines; Enable Human Resources to achieve performance excellence
  • New HRIS Projects
  • Collaborate with HRIS users (internal customers) to understand business requirements and ensure integration of relevant aspects into the HRIS system
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches in collaboration with IT
  • Ensure HR Team members are trained on new processes/functionality; Ensure the accuracy and completeness of process documentation and user instructional materials
  • Establish grievance redressal mechanisms and define resolution cycle times for timely and effective resolution of HRIS issues
  • Evaluate systems performance on periodic basis and suggest ways to improve systems performance; Monitor the status of change requests
  • Lead the development and monitoring of performance metrics; Lead continuous improvement initiatives by tracking and incorporating new technologies
