In this role, you will work with teams that are responsible for the Discovery experience including the Home page, Details page, and Search.

The QE team in Discovery builds Test automation, frameworks, synthetic test data engines, test orchestrators, and simulators to accelerate testing in a shift-left world.
We build tests at scale across all our apps, middleware, and microservices.We work in collaboration with other Quality, DevOps, and development teams to build a world-class test infrastructure that enables the company to release fast and release often.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild highly scalable test frameworks, systems, and infrastructure that can scale to thousands of tests per day.
Contribute to making tests automation results supremely reliable and trustable to the extent of enabling hands-free releases.
Deliver innovative solutions to complex test automation challenges.
Work with Product, UX, and Development teams to execute and deliver high-quality discovery experiences across Mobile, Web, and Living Room devices.
Collaborate with stakeholders from across functions to align Quality team with business objectives.Guide peers in developing Quality Engineering roadmaps and test systems to drive product quality.
Be part of the CEX Org QE team, collaborating with engineers across various functions to enhance customer discovery experiences.
Skills & Attributes for success
Excellent automation skills for Front end client applications like Mobile, TVs, Set Top Boxes, or Living Room devices.
Good understanding of REST APIs, request-response structures, error and status codes.
Knowledge of SQL and DB scripting.
Experience in developing backend tools or frameworks to test Rest APIs, microservices, data migration, failover scenarios, etc.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and Shift Left principles.
Ability to build distributed systems for performance and scale testing.
Experience in working within a distributed heterogeneous microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with caches like Aerospike, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka.
Experience with Amazon AWS or similar cloud providers.
Familiarity with industry best practices in SW development processes.
Proficiency with linux commands and shell scripts.
Knowledge of building and publishing POCs.
