The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) is a specialized Category-I institute within UNESCO dedicated to promoting education for global citizenship. MGIEP's Policy Team works towards policy changes to support SDG Target 4.7 on education for peace and sustainable development beyond 2030. Join us on this impactful journey

As the National Project Officer for Capacity Building and Program Design (Teachers), you will play a crucial role in:

Capacity Building on SEL and Digital Pedagogies:

Manage and coordinate training for teachers, school management teams, and government officials worldwide on SEL and Digital Pedagogy.Develop monitoring and assessment frameworks to evaluate training effectiveness and impact, and design workshop experiences to support teachers.Stay updated on digital and SEL trends to enhance course offerings.Programme Design and Project Management:
Participate in designing and implementing programs, identifying collaboration opportunities, and managing training programs for governments and stakeholders.Collaborate with key partners to advance capacity building initiatives.Contribute to stakeholder engagement mechanisms and align capacity building plans with strategic goals.Communication and Outreach:
Develop communication plans and engage with stakeholders to raise awareness of programs.Share program successes through various media channels.Required Qualifications:

Education:
Master's Degree in education, psychology, neuroscience, or related field.Work Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience in education, research, policy, or related areas.Skills and Competencies:
Commitment to the organization's mission.Ability to monitor education trends and build partnerships.Strong organizational and communication skills.Good analytical and problemsolving skills.Languages:
Proficiency in English and Hindi.
