Senior Associate - Legal & compliance

Senior Associate,

  • Project Dabba is an initiative to launch a highspeed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
  • We are looking for a stellar regulatory lawyer to join our team. In this role, you will counsel the Dabba team on a broad range of legal matters involving regulatory, licensing, and other legal requirements. You will provide support for regulatory filings in India. You will closely coordinate with global legal teams and outside counsel.
  • We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys being continually challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of our Bangalore HQ.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • LLB in India or equivalent law degree in other common law jurisdiction.
  • Company Secretarial certification / practice experience in India.
  • 3+ years of legal experience (experience at a law firm and/or inhouse).
  • Competence in broad range of corporate, business & Web3 laws.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A mix of corporate law firm and inhouse experience in India.
  • Experience in advising multinational companies and businesses operating at scale.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and assess business processes/products, spot issues and structure practical solutions.
