Automation Developer (Python) with Networking Protocols and Layers

About this Team:
The candidate will be part of the EMS (Enterprise Monitoring Solutions) team who is responsible for Monitoring , provide monitoring solutions and automation across the enterprise. This team is engaged in monitoring both distributed systems and network areas.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with support teams to ensure the proper monitoring of systems.
  • Perform vendor engagement activities to work in collaboration with vendor support to resolve application issues.
  • Lead in assigned projects and work efforts. Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking and creative solutioning.
  • Create technical documentation of solutions.
  • Train team members, NOC resources, support team members and engineers on monitoring solutions and services.


​What you bring:

  • 4 to 6 Year of experience in design, development and debugging of large-scale complex data processing solutions.
  • Understanding of Network concepts and network devices. Good understanding of Familiarity with protocols such as SNMP, DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, TCP/IP, OSI layers
  • REST API design, development, and integration experience.
  • NMS (Network management System) product experience, preferably Spectrum, HP NNM, HP NA, Zabbix etc.
  • Experience in configuration management and scripting would be a plus – e.g. tools such as Ansible, scripting using Shell, Python, Go, will be plus. Good understanding of frameworks like gRPC, IPMI, OpenTelemetry will be plus.Hands-knowledge of Linux / Unix.
  • Perform remediation of vulnerabilities identified on legacy platforms. Good understanding of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow. Solid grasp of ITSM concepts, framework, and IT operations.
  • Willing to work in late evening covering US working hou
