As the Team Manager - Maintenance (Paint Shop) you will be part of the Operations and will report to the Section Head - Maintenance.

The purpose of your role will be to do Breakdown maintenance and effective planned maintenance to minimize the BD losses, Effective utilization of manpower and resources, Focus on Kaizen/improvement activities, Safety knowledge is required.

(LOTO, HIRA, hazard points closure), SAP knowledge on PM module, IMS documentation.

Your key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

To minimize the breakdown nos. and hours as per the target defined in frame assembly & final inspection
To ensure breakdown reduction in other areas (Paint shop, engine assembly, Conveyors, MHE , SQA & Reliability Lab)
To strengthen the PM activities
To reduce breakdown by deploying 7 steps of planned maintenance methodology
Taking initiatives to enhance innovation
Creating a Happy workplace

A Day in the life:
Preparation of Manpower as per planning. Maintain check on process parameters of Critical equipment. Production planning of Shift in line with plan. Maintain Product and process Quality requirement. Documentation and reporting of Production

Academic Qualification & Experience:
B.E / B.Tech - Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Preferably with 4 to 7 Years of Experience or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Mechatronics with 13 to 14 Years in Paint, Weld & Assembly equipment, ABB / OTC / Panasonic / DURR Robots, Paint kitchen, Spot welding, Brazing, Buffing, Conveyors, Fine boring machine, Mitsubishi & Siemens PLC & SPMs

Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Good knowledge in the maintenance of overhead conveyors, ground conveyors, press machines, Robotic painting, Aero bells, Marking machines, filling and testing machines, Test bench, Lab machines
Good programming skills in ladder, wc

Good knowledge of communication networks:

  • Profibus, CC-Link, Profinet, Melsec Net

Behavioral Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Behavioral Based Safety Approach
Planning and decision making
