The Sales Enablement function supports Mercer across multiple geographies & businesses. Sales Enablement team enables Consultants globally with strategic and bespoke solutions for pre/post sales cycle & marketing processes, increasing Mercer's chances of winning new business through lead generation, managing commercials, client-focused proposals, strategic research, virtual consulting tool & graphic design support.

Senior Specialist - Digital Media & Graphic Design

What can you expect?

The incumbent in this role will ensure robust design solutions with high quality delivery to the sales leaders, consultants, and business development team. This position entails accountability of Design process – ideating, designing, quality assurance & branding across all levels of project complexities.
The role will focus on:

• Creating novel & impactful visual concepts independently for client facing collaterals with accuracy, enacting differentiators in the market
• Essential artistic abilities to communicate ideas, solve problems and coordination with all relevant stakeholders
• Delivering quality service to the stakeholders by driving and optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency in project management
• Collaborating with businesses on strategic initiatives as well as working on operational improvements to benefit the design process
• Flexibility to work with global stakeholders for project management & discussion/calls
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of visual identity & design principles
• Understanding cultural sensitivity across countries and business needs of the operating companies to deliver high quality designs

We will count on you for:

• Collaborate with process managers, communication specialists, designers, strategists and sales consultants to design communication/business collateral
• Create client-facing materials like presentations, placemat, bio-booklet, executive summary, proposals, flyer, reports, motion graphic & animation that strictly adhere to company's branding, templates, and design guidelines/principles
• Should be able to execute from basic formatting to concept-based designs and animations across all digital, print and multimedia platform
• Comprehend & create complex charts / graphs / infographics / illustrations, and artwork, using Adobe/Microsoft software products
• Manage multiple concurrent design projects while maintaining creative innovation, brand alignment, quality and continuous performance improvement.
• Strong understanding of design principles and visual system – review and finalize deliverables
• Maintain quality standards by way of peer review checklists
• Make reviewer changes to content and design as required with a strong attention to detail

What you need to have:

• College degree in a graphic design, or closely related discipline
• Proven experience working as a graphic designer – minimum 3-5 years in a corporate consulting or business firm, or in a creative service environment
• Experience with visual and digital storytelling, presentations, and animation
• Ability to be creative within established guidelines
• Mandatory: Advanced and proven knowledge of MS PowerPoint
• Mandatory: Expertise and experience working in latest Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro), and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Familiarity with video production & animation (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Audition) will be a value add
• Self-motivated, organized and ability to work as a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time working under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Possession of excellent oral and written skills required along with interpersonal skills

What makes you stand out?

• Certified Adobe designer/Graphic design pertinent degree with corporate design expertise
• Proficiency in motion graphics, video production, audio/video editing and animation using Adobe Premiere Pro, After effects and Audition
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
