Online QA Automation (Java with Selenium) Course Trainer

Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable online trainer to lead a comprehensive QA Automation course focusing on Java with Selenium for our participants.

The trainer will be responsible for delivering in-depth instruction on various aspects of test automation, including setting up the environment, writing and executing test scripts, and best practices for maintaining automated test suites.

The goal is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively use Selenium with Java for quality assurance and test automation.


Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

  • Develop a detailed course outline covering all relevant topics in QA Automation with Java and Selenium, including:
  • Introduction to QA Automation and Selenium
  • Setting up the development environment (Eclipse/IntelliJ, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven)
  • Core Java concepts for automation testing
  • Selenium WebDriver basics and advanced features
  • Locating web elements using different strategies (ID, Name, XPath, CSS Selector)
  • Handling various web elements (forms, tables, alerts, iframes)
  • TestNG framework for test execution and reporting
  • Page Object Model (POM) and Page Factory
  • Datadriven testing using Excel and other data sources
  • Crossbrowser testing with Selenium Grid
  • Continuous Integration (CI) with Jenkins
  • Best practices for writing and maintaining test scripts
  • Debugging and troubleshooting test scripts

Instructional Design:

  • Design engaging and interactive instructional materials, such as presentations, demonstrations, handson exercises, coding projects, and assessments, to facilitate effective learning and skill development.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct live online training sessions using virtual classroom platforms, ensuring active participation, engagement, and interaction among participants.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles and ensure comprehensive understanding.

Participant Support:

  • Provide personalized guidance and support to participants, addressing their questions, concerns, and challenges related to QA automation with Java and Selenium.
  • Offer feedback on assignments and practical exercises to help participants improve their skills.

Real-World Applications:

  • Demonstrate practical scenarios and examples to illustrate the application of QA automation principles and techniques in realworld projects.

Assessment and Feedback:

  • Assess participants' progress through quizzes, assignments, coding exercises, and projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help participants enhance their understanding and proficiency in QA automation with Java and Selenium.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest developments, updates, and best practices in QA automation and Selenium.
  • Incorporate relevant updates into the course curriculum as needed to ensure the training content remains current and relevant.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in QA automation, with a strong portfolio of completed projects and a deep understanding of Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  • Proficiency in using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing and automation.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze business requirements, and propose effective QA automation solutions.

Training and Education:

  • Experience in designing and delivering online training courses or workshops, using virtual classroom platforms, web conferencing tools, and interactive learning technologies.
  • A passion for teaching and mentoring, with a genuine desire to help others succeed in their QA automation journey.

Certifications:

  • Certifications in QA automation, Selenium, or related areas are preferred but not mandatory.

Flexibility:

  • Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and schedules, as some participants may be located in different regions.
