You will be working as Quality Manager - Indoor and Outdoor Products at global grade 12 and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Quality Manager and will be responsible for deploying and leading the quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations.

Your responsibilities
  • Deploying and leading strategy, objectives and targets for Quality Management in line with the Quality Management System, Quality Policy and local strategy
  • Continuously identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related to the organization or its Quality Management
  • Ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken and solutions are managed to closure
  • Working within ABB local organizational units or functions to prevent mistakes and defects in products and avoiding problems when delivering solutions or services to customers
  • Assisting the organization in achieving desired strategic and operational results through the means of the quality management system
  • Driving initiatives to improve on agreed aspects of quality, in close collaboration with local units and across multiple units or functions as applicable
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of medium or high voltage switchgear product is preferable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
