About the team

Financial Close Manager provides the solution with a single platform that seamlessly automates and controls the whole financial close, which allows one to capture all the information and documentation one needs to certify general ledger account balances for the close period – and streamline one close while showing consistent levels of control.

FCM is based on FIS's proprietary Fabric framework. Fabric is driving the platform modernization across the group, leveraging innovate, industry leading technology to providing a flexible layered approach that accelerates time to market of new products, whilst offering consumable services.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Angular + Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications.

Responsibilities: Angular + Java Spring Boot Microservices

  • Looking from 5 to 12 Years of experienced candidates in development
  • Strong proficiency in Angular for front-end development (UI).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience of 5+ years with development and unit test case writing using frameworks like Mockito
  • Extensive experience in Java and Spring Boot Microservices architecture and development (for backend).
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of Event driven architectures and development experience with Event hubs, Kafka or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of Document Databases and development experience with Cosmos DB, Mongo DB
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with build tools like maven or gradle
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, hlem chart) is a plus.
  • Certification in Angular and/or Java Spring Boot is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Java 17, Springboot 3 is plus.
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum Development Methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a team player who is willing to "roll up their sleeves" and make sure the job gets done.
  • High energy, highly analytical and results-oriented

Front-end Development:

  • Design and develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive features.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of the front-end with the back-end services.

Back-end Development:

  • Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices to support the business logic of the applications.
  • Implement RESTful APIs for communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the microservices architecture.

Database Management:

  • Design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Work with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) as needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.

Code Quality and Testing:

  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Agile

  • Work with POs to understand the complex functional requirements effectively and translate those into necessary technical work across multiple services.
  • Participate actively in grooming sessions to analyze stories and estimate those effectively.
  • Work with Architects to understand the architectures and implement those.
  • Attend various scrum ceremonies as part of scrum team.
  • Analyze simple to medium complex stories and be able to produce design and review those with architects.
  • Should be able to document features developed by him.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
