Job Description

Danfoss Drives seeks an Engineer/Senior Engineer – Power Electronics to join their diverse team at the Oragadam/Chennai Campus in India.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, select, specify, and validate critical power components
  • Analyze product failures, identify root causes, and implement improvements
  • Participate in cost-saving idea generation
  • Support Testing Team during product testing
  • Provide technical clarification with suppliers and manufacturing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams
  • Work with supply chain teams to ensure product quality and cost efficiency
  • Assist in resolving critical customer cases
Background & Skills

Desired qualifications and skills:

  • B.E (EEE/ECE/Power Electronics) and ME/M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in power electronics and circuits
  • Strong knowledge of passive and analog electronics
  • Experience with digital electronics and communication protocols
  • Familiarity with power converters and regulatory standards
  • Proficient in technical documentation and circuit design
  • Skills in EMI/EMC design, testing, and system integration
  • Experience in PCB board layout using Cadence
  • Strong teamwork, planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills
