Your role:
- Work as an Internal Control Specialist at global grade 11 within the Motion Business Area for BA Function Finance division in Bangalore, India.
- Report to the Sen. Risk & Internal Controls Manager and assist in implementing global policies and controls, enhancing compliance, and automating existing controls.
Your responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with local divisions to establish an effective assurance framework for managing strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Drive the implementation of internal control strategies, enhance control frameworks, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
- Support the deployment of internal controls from the Finance Transformation Program and other global projects.
- Lead internal control efficiency projects and assist in identifying key risks and adjusting controls accordingly.
- Keep the business compliant and provide training and support where needed.
- Collaborate with external auditors and conduct walkthroughs of financial and operational processes.
Your background:
- Bachelor's in B.com / M. com or CA.
- 8-10 years of experience in internal controls, Auditing, risk management, or compliance, ideally in a multinational company or a Big4 firm.
- Experience in interacting across a large organization and solid business knowledge.
- Chartered Accountant qualification with a focus on Internal Audit and Governance.
- Understanding of internal control frameworks like COSO and international accounting standards such as IFRS and US GAAP.
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written) with a willingness to travel occasionally.
