As the HR Head of Shared Services, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of HR shared services operations within the organization. This role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality HR services to employees and stakeholders, streamlining processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with HR leaders, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the HR shared services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Establish clear goals, objectives, and performance metrics for the shared services team, and monitor progress towards achieving them.

- Develop and mentor team members, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.

HR Operations Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of HR shared services, including but not limited to employee data management, payroll processing, benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, and employee inquiries/resolutions.

- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services and transactions, adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs) and compliance requirements.

- Continuously evaluate and optimize HR processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience.

- Stay abreast of emerging HR technologies and best practices, leveraging innovation to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Employee Experience and Engagement:

- Champion a customer-centric approach to HR service delivery, ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

- Collaborate with HR business partners and stakeholders to understand employee needs and expectations, and tailor HR services and programs accordingly.

- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention within the organization.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards in all HR shared services activities and transactions.

- Maintain data privacy and security standards, implementing appropriate controls and safeguards to protect sensitive employee information.

- Identify and mitigate HR-related risks and issues, implementing effective controls and corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- years of progressive experience in HR shared services or HR operations management roles.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance.

- Extensive knowledge of HR processes, practices, and systems, including HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and employee data management.

- Experience with HR technology implementations, digital transformation, and process improvement initiatives.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR information and transactions.
