We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join the Alteryx Platform Team, and who wants to be a part of defining the future of Analytics Platform. The right candidate will have in-depth experience building BI and AI analytics platform capabilities by extracting data from systems of record and files, configuration-based extensibility to connect to these systems, and integrating data in heterogeneous application landscapes with use of APIs & connectors. Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses, analytic platforms or applications built for high scale and performance is a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

10+ years of technology experience, defining the product capabilities for data ingestion, data federation, data management, data governance, data modelling & data analytics with UI, metadata and API based extensibility. Experience delivering feature capabilities for Data, Analytics on cloud-based products preferred.Have strong domain knowledge of your area. Understand where your product/feature fits into the overall business and the rationale behind roadmap prioritizations. Build relationships with your development team.Collaborating with Alteryx Applications teams to drive necessary platform requirements and dependencies.Show your stakeholders that you understand their concerns, keep them informed of important changes, and give them a voice in the product direction. Maintain healthy relationships with your engineering and UX colleagues.Balance product vision & roadmap with internal stakeholder and customer feedback, competitive analysis, prioritizing across a diverse set of inputs and constituents.Engage with our sales and customer communities to deliver feature and product enablement, drive customer success and product adoption.
SKILLS YOU POSSESS

Minimum of 5-10 years of product management experience in the software industry, ideally in one of the data management domains (e.g. integration, transformation, machine learning or BI/analytics)Exposure to platform technologies such as connectivity, metadata highly desirableExperience with Enterprise SaaS and cloud software product managementExperience with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a huge plus.Flexibility working across different offices & geographically distributed teams and time zones.Agile, nimble, data driven approach to product management. Experience with estimationsComfortable cutting through ambiguity and getting to decisions.Self-driven, you can keep things moving forward without external pressure.Collaborative engagement style focusing on communication across teams.Willing to travel occasionally to customers and internal teams internationally.Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical disciplineKnowledge and exposure to data analysis and data management tools and solutionsExperience analyzing and making decisions based off of product usage information.Superior communication skills, particularly with writing and visual storytelling.Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences, from C-level to entry level, both internal and external
