This position reports to

R&D Department Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conduct simulations using industry-standard software tools to analyze the electrical and mechanical behavior of switchgear products.

• Collaborate with the R&D team to develop 3D models and simulations that accurately represent the physical characteristics and operating conditions of our products.

• Validate simulation results through comparison with experimental data and real-world performance testing.

• Generate detailed reports and presentations to communicate simulation findings to stakeholders and make recommendations for design improvements.

Qualifications for the role
  • You are immersed in highly skilled R&D function and you enjoy working with ANSYS, ADAMS, Multiphysics, MATLAB/Simulink tools
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in R&D simulation, develop 3D models and simulations, validating simulation results, and simulation methodologies with 4 to 10 years of experience in switchgear industry
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of ANSYS, ADAMS, Multiphysics, MATLAB/Simulink
  • Degree in Electrical (Preferable) or Mechanical engineering with proven experience of R&D Simulation
