We are looking for a talented candidate that can effectively support Textrons current Midrange and Collaboration environments.


The Infrastructure Analyst II role will be primarily responsible for the end user IT experience from a software, hardware, toolset, and technology perspective.

This role will have principal responsibility and oversight of the daily technology Corporate and TFC employees use. This includes, but not limited to, the workstation, collaboration tools, operation system, and web-based tools. Building a robust image and device is critical to the productivity of our organization.

Issues with technology happen, so having a predictable, simple, and efficient problem and issue management system (people, process, and tools) will also be a key focus for this role.


The Infrastructure Analyst II role will take on responsibility and ownership of the key vendor relationships, budget, road mapping, performance, and delivery of the end user technology experience of Textron Corporate and TFC employees globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversight of the Textron Standard Operating Environment Images for Corp/TFC, application packaging and distribution, patching, and operating system currency
Create and maintain technical documentation for operational readiness
Lead workstation and end user technology space as the architect responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure and messaging solutions
Assist the lead midrange architect responsible for designing and implementing server, storage, and messaging solutions
Process end-user requests for provisioning and modifying permissions, granting access, provisioning/reclaiming licenses and other requests for collaboration solutions and other technology tools
Participate in implementing global collaboration solutions, innovation efforts, and technology initiatives
Cross-train with other team members in day-to-day team operations
Enforce standards for system architecture in close collaboration with application owners, developers, users, and stakeholders.
Implement solutions in keeping with long-term strategic plan for
infrastructure system management and platform maturity, including automation through scripting and coding, virtualization, business continuity/disaster recovery, and cost optimization.

Develop and document processes and procedures to be used by all responsible parties in system deployment, maintenance, and administration activities in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and recommended practices.

Direct and audit third-party support activities for adherence to company policies, procedures, and architecture standards.
Plan and coordinate upgrades, migrations, refreshes, etc. projects and initiatives.
Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and remediation activities during outages or periods of performance degradation.

Assist and backup the infrastructure team members in midrange or other infrastructure areas, such as network, servers, storage, backup, and other needs.

Assist and back up the security lead (ITRM) for Corporate, TIS, and TES
Participate in change management processes for planned activities that might impact midrange system availability or performance.
Support any network efforts that may have direct or indirect end user impact
Participate in the acquisition of hardware, software, and equipment for end users
Solve complex technical issues with limited supervision
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
