Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform benefit calculations for pension plans
  • Execute special actuarial projects as assigned
  • Generate data requests, conduct data analysis, and identify inconsistencies
  • Compile valuation data using Excel or specialized Software applications
  • Analyze detailed actuarial gain/loss and scrutinize liability changes
  • Set valuation assumptions, and update them on the valuation system
  • Create valuation reports and Forms for regulatory submission
  • Support other special ad hoc projects
  • Guide junior team members in their tasks and assist in their development
  • Quality check work done by junior colleagues
  • Participate in work transition, create training materials, and provide training to team members

Education and Skill Requirements:

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks
  • Progress in Actuarial exams is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and mentor junior employees
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent cognitive abilities, analytical skills, organization, and memory
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Adaptability to changes in the workplace
  • Flexibility in work schedule (e.g., willingness to work Day/Night shifts as per business needs)
