We are seeking a Manager - Finance to join our Bengaluru, India office. The Manager - Finance will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our company.

The role involves analyzing and presenting the financial strengths and weaknesses of the company to senior management, exploring opportunities for increasing revenue and reducing costs and identifying and eliminating financial risks.


Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions Management:

  • Process and manage financial transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure accuracy of sales revenues and liabilities and recording all transactions promptly.
  • Manage statutory payments, taxes, duties, and other regulatory obligations ensuring timely submissions, including but not limited to GST, ESIC/PF and PT, submitting tax returns and liaising with auditor.
  • Prepare periodical balance sheets and income statements.
  • Handle payroll management, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll in compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Record Keeping and Documentation:

  • Maintain organized and uptodate financial records and documentation. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings in compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to aid decisionmaking.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, legal requirements, and company policies. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, operations and management, to support financial needs and provide financial insights.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes.
  • Implement best practices, and contribute to the development of companywide financial strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation of internal controls, risk management, and compliance procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for cost optimization and resource allocation across different departments.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other external partners.
  • Address inquiries and resolve issues related to financial transactions.
  • Stay current with changes in financial regulations, industry trends, and market conditions that may impact the company's financial operations.

Qualifications:
1) Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting; Professional certifications (e.g., MBA CA, CMA, CFA) is an added advantage.

2) Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a track record of at least 3 years in a senior role.

3) Thorough understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation regulations, strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and compliance requirements.

4) Proficiency in Tally, and MS Office applications.

5) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

6) Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis

7 ) Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting

8) Ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound recommendations

9) Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
