This position reports to

Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Managing operational supplier quality, including validating the supplier's quality systems and processes
Leading and promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, noncompliant products, etc
Managing the production line quality and supporting resolution of critical parts, product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams
Demonstrating ABB's core values and group safety and integrity standards and acting accordingly
Ensuring adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results
Managing relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensuring alignment

Qualifications for the role
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in relevant field
  • Should have working experience in supplier quality, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
  • Proficient in quality tools like FMEA, 7 QC tools, 5S, 5Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC & 8D Root cause analysis
  • Experience in handling of mechanical component validation
  • Experience in using of various measuring tools
