Who we are seeking

Seeking a professional in Control Assurance Testing to support the Business Risk Management Monitoring and Testing team in conducting client specific reviews on control design assessment and operating effectiveness.

The Monitoring & Testing team, housed within GD BRM, collaborates with business units to establish fundamental risk management practices.

What you'll be accountable for

As a member, you will

  • Conduct control design and operating effectiveness reviews according to the State Street Framework, including documenting RCMs and outcomes of control design and effectiveness evaluations.
  • Conduct walkthroughs with management of business units and subject matter experts to pinpoint risk areas, control vulnerabilities, and opportunities for enhancing the risk landscape.
  • Evaluate the control design and operating effectiveness of end-to-end processes to ensure proper mitigation of operational and compliance risks, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business and Risk teams to supervise and execute monitoring and testing programs in line with State Street standards.
  • Manage staff in a matrix setup, overseeing employee development, addressing concerns, and ensuring effective time management.

Education & Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Risk Management, or equivalent experience is desirable
  • 8 to 9 years of experience in Control Assurance Testing and Risk Management

Additional qualifications

Familiarity with the Archer GRS solutions platform is advantageous.
