Who we are looking for:

As a Seasoned Lead Developer, we are on the lookout for an individual to tackle the task of designing and coming up with solutions for the GTS Integration Services team. The ideal candidate should boast over a decade of experience in crafting web applications using Java, JavaScript frameworks, Spring MVC, and Microservices on native and open cloud platforms via CI/CD. The qualified individual should excel in handling a variety of projects of different complexities and meeting set deadlines. The position demands a senior developer with a robust background in business, software development, data analysis, system flows, and design patterns to strategically create products for the Integration Services team.

As a Seasoned Lead Developer, Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting analysis, designing, and developing solutions for integration services. You will be accountable for delivering and overseeing multiple development projects.
  • Acting as the representative for the team in all major technical upgrades and significant technical endeavors.
  • Managing tasks within and beyond the agile team, ensuring successful completion within agreed-upon quality standards and deadlines.
  • Understanding user requirements, suggesting solution options, addressing critical issues and risks, and taking charge of resolution across the organization.
  • Applying analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Utilizing and integrating processes through various transmission protocols.
  • Creating solutions for file transport, messaging, and API integration protocols using popular formats.
  • Integrating systems using various integration software - customized, vendor, and open-source.

These skills are essential for success in this role, with both mandatory and preferred skills:

  • The ideal candidate must showcase a high level of proficiency in Results Focus, Business Acumen, Curiosity, and Technology Level Influence/Teamwork.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree as a minimum requirement
  • At least 6 years of experience in developing Enterprise Web applications in Java/Spring MVC and Microservices.
  • Over 6 years of experience in any JavaScript framework
  • Hands-on experience with Relational (Oracle, Postgres, etc.) and NOSQL databases
  • Experience with various messaging platforms like IBM MQ, Confluent Kafka
  • Work background in Agile Teams with a clear understanding of the Agile model
  • Practical experience with Integration, Ingestion platforms, and event orchestration.
  • Experience with modern engineering practices such as Dockers, Kubernetes, and open cloud exposure is advantageous
  • Proficiency in delivering solutions using any CI/CD and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
  • Experience in conducting design and code reviews to ensure adherence to coding best practices.
