Position: Fashion Designing Intern

About the Internship:

We are seeking a passionate and talented individual to join our team as a Fashion Designing Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the fashion design process, from conceptualization to production. The intern will have the chance to contribute to real projects and develop their skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in research and concept development for upcoming collections.

Create sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to communicate design ideas.

Collaborate with teams to select fabrics, trims, and embellishments.

Support in pattern-making, sample development, and fittings.

Contribute creative input and innovative ideas to design meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Stay informed about current fashion trends, industry news, and competitor analysis.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design program or related field.

Strong passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or other design software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction well.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, and sewing techniques is a plus.
