Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Assist in collecting, validating, and analyzing health insurance data.
- Support the development and maintenance of actuarial models.
- Prepare and maintain databases for actuarial analysis.
- Assist in pricing analyses for health insurance products.
- Support product development teams with actuarial input.
- Ensure pricing models comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assist in performing loss reserving analyses.
- Support the development and implementation of reserving methodologies and models.
- Help assess and quantify risks associated with health insurance products.
- Assist in developing risk management strategies and recommendations.
- Prepare actuarial reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and results for review.
- Assist in providing actuarial consulting services to clients.
- Support senior actuaries in client meetings and presentations.
- Help build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in health insurance.
- Pursue actuarial exams and professional development opportunities.
- Bachelors in Actuarial Sciences or relevant degree (Candidates with 1-2 exams will be preferred)
- 1 to 2 years' of professional actuarial experience in the health insurance industry.
