Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute trade marketing plan in line with sales and marketing objectives and managing the trade marketing budget
  • Improve brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
  • Lead and implement channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers.
  • Conceptualize and execute trade promotions and roll out impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
  • Develop new and innovative activation programs with partners to improve brand visibility.
  • Visiting the points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected.

Skills

  • Sales Acumen: Understanding of sales processes and the ability to collaborate with sales & marketing teams to drive revenue through effective trade marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies and goals.
  • Project Management: Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
  • Retail Knowledge: Understanding of retail environments, including knowledge of merchandising, shelf placement, and point-of-sale displays.
  • Customer Focus: Understanding the needs and preferences of customers in the target market to tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources. Monitor expenditures and provide regular budget updates to senior management.
