You will be working as Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist at global grade 14 and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and will be responsible in providing Financial Planning and analysis expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups and recommending actions to improve financial performance.
Your responsibilities- Performing analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast. Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the Division
- Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identifying trends. Preparing and analyzing Product / Customer profitability
- Supporting preparation of relevant functions for financial reporting, business planning & forecasting. Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements
- Performing analysis on order backlog & Book to bill for Division, Hubs & BL's. Identifying areas for process / report standardization across different countries, divisions, and business units
- Preparing allocation cycles and calculation of Labor hour rates and overhead absorption rate for different business scenarios. Performing cost / benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWC
- Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions. Recommend changes of process standards and procedures to improve the timely performance of process activities
- Ensure processes and controls within own area of responsibility are implemented in line with Group and unit requirements. Ensure SOPs are prepared and updated regularly for all activities performed by the team
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a Finance and/or Accounting. CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred
- Minimum 5 year experience in Accounting and Finance with 2+ years of experience in FP&A is preferable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with thorough / detail-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English
- Hands on experience in SAP FICO and COPA modules is necessary. Excellent MS Office working knowledge is an advantage
- Basic Knowledge of Sales & Distribution, Production planning, Projects, Material master modules in SAP
- Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries and self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality
