Overview
Sr.

Software Engineer is an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of innovative software products.

The successful candidate must be able to quickly learn the existing systems and components, actively participate in expanding the current systems with new components, as well as develop new components using big data and other emerging technologies.

Successful candidates must have strong Java knowledge, and experience working with server-side web application software for functionality across multiple browser platforms.


What you will do:

  • Coordinate and communicate with the client postsale to develop an implementation
  • Participate in defining productlevel architecture and be responsible for designing componentlevel architecture.
  • Take ownership of features and components
  • Utilize a testdriven development approach to deliver commercialquality code.
  • Perform code and design reviews.
  • Perform handson development and maintenance of software applications/components.
  • Maintain and support current systems and ongoing programs.

What you will bring:

  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 4.5 years of handson coding experience in Java; preferably through several complete development cycles from specifications to software delivery.
  • Hands on knowledge and work experience on core Spring Framework.
  • Hands on knowledge and work experience on any RDBMS.
  • Hands on knowledge and work experience on Apache SPARK
  • Knowledge of J2EE Application Servers and Javarelated technologies (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, XML).
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, XSLT, XSD. Knowledge on Angular, Bootstrap is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AWS or any cloudbased platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in distributed web applications and multithreaded systems.
  • Able to learn quickly and effectively apply new knowledge, demonstrating the desire to stay in touch with emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Agile Development & Continuous Integration is a plus.
  • Must be a disciplined adherent of proper software development procedures and documentation.
  • Must be able to work well in a diverse small team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
