Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Global Payroll Specialist - Senior Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across various regions, handling complex payroll activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of payroll systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage payroll discrepancies and improve processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complex Payroll Processing: Manage and process intricate payroll activities, including benefits, retirement deductions, tax reporting, and compliance duties.
- Training & Support: Train and support new payroll specialists, ensuring they understand payroll procedures and systems.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Resolve escalated payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the payroll team leader on initiatives to improve payroll processes and enhance system functionalities.
- Internal Audits: Participate in internal audits to ensure adherence to payroll regulations and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure the seamless integration of payroll systems and processes.
- System Implementation: Assist with the implementation and enhancement of payroll systems and tools.
- Procedure Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of payroll procedures and policies to streamline operations.
Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in MS Office and payroll software.
- Numerical Aptitude: Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational Skills: Effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities.
Education:
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Professional certification in Payroll, Finance, or HR from a recognized international institution preferred.
