Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and work effectively with all levels of the organization from the Teams to C-suite to advance engagements.
  • Coach organizations and guide executives through sustainable outcome-based Agile transformations.
  • Work with enterprise portfolios to institute, practice, and adopt Scrum, Kanban, and Agile techniques.
  • Contribute to continuously evolving processes to align to enterprise agile transformation strategy.
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends in the agile space for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborate with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Mentor and guide other coaches, scrum masters as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to instill a culture of measurement with respect to both the impact of the change to the business and the effectiveness of the system of delivery.
  • Teach and mentor teams on Lean, Agile, and Scrum/Kanban principles and best practices.
  • Facilitate team events that brings out the ideas of everyone on the team. Ensure the outcomes of the events are achieved.
  • Work with the teams to implement and create new practices that will improve the team's ability to deliver better outcomes.
  • Foster a Kaizen mindset within and outside the team.
  • Help the teams remove their own barriers, leverage Scrum of Scrum's to remove barriers the team is unable to remove and challenge organizational impediments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree - Business, Agile, Project Management related disciplines required
  • Masters Degree - Business, Agile, Project Management related disciplines preferred
  • 9+ years experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach
  • 5+ years' experience working in a Scaled environment, preferable Scrum @ Scale or SAFe
  • Experience coaching/consulting C-suite and executives
  • Expert in-person and remote facilitation skills and exceptional self-awareness
  • Experience implementing Agile in different cultures and environments
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, teaching and mentoring skills
  • Embody the Scrum Values: Openness, Respect, Courage, Commitment and Focus
  • Must have a bias for action and be comfortable in an ever changing or ambiguous environment
  • Advanced or Coaching credential from the Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc, , or ICAgile
  • Demonstrated ability leading multiple large-scale Agile/Digital transformations and/or OCM initiatives
  • Unbiased facilitator and able to engage all people at all levels
  • Tech savvy, experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Office 365 preferred.
  • Encourage an experimental and fail-fast and learning mindset preferred.
  • Understands and can work with Portfolios applying technical concepts, such as DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud, Architecture, Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD), etc.-Experience working with teams applying DevSecOps capabilities to achieve delivery speed and operational stability preferred.
  • Work with teams from a variety of technical domains, including but not limited to warehouse management systems, ERPs, financial systems, and data-warehouses preferred.
  • Remote work with the ability to travel to office locations as needed preferred.
