About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with Baking and Pastry Preparation: Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.

2. Bake various bread types, including pretzels, baguettes, and multigrain breads.

3. Mix ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies (e.g., chocolate ganache, caramel sauce, and fruits).

4. Cake Decoration and Pastry Artistry: Decorate cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream, and edible toppings (e.g., flowers).

5. Shape dough to create different types of pastries, such as croissants, cookies, and sweet rolls.

6. Customer-Centric Approach: Prepare custom-made pastries based on customers preferences (e.g., birthday cakes).

7. Recommend new recipes to refresh our menu and attract more customers (e.g., gluten-free or vegan desserts).

8. Kitchen Operations: Open the bakery early in the morning.

9. Maintain a clean kitchen environment by cleaning equipment and tools before use.

10. Track food supplies and place orders as needed.
