Summary:

The purpose of the role is to maximize the operational performance of WTW services and maintain a strong secure posture. The role is accountable for the support of complex issues, controlling policy & compliance and supporting change activities. This role ensures the technical success of network services within the WTW environment in a Tier 3 capacity.

Role:

  • Hands on experience is installing and configuring Imperva server-side components and agents.
  • Able to analyse and repair (Server/components & Agents)
  • Experience in upgrading Imperva infrastructure.
  • Use of scripts in Imperva environment.
  • Upgrade of Imperva Agents and repair (Server/components & Agents) and manage the Imperva Infra activities.
  • Manages alerts received through tickets or monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshooting of Imperva related components on Windows and Unix servers.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills; Ability to prioritize simultaneous high visibility customer and internal escalations.
  • Handling Incident and Request Management in Change and Problem Management. Where required, inputs to stakeholders involved in case of critical incidents like outages.
  • Raise change requests where required and Implement Standard and minor changes.
  • Be capable and understand the SQL commands to troubleshoot the Imperva issues/Alerts.
  • Engineer should have knowledge in scripting and should be able to automate reoccurring manual tasks.
  • Ensure ITIL compliance and KPI compliance for all incidents and service calls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology strongly preferred, or relevant industry experience in related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in IT or Telecoms industry.
  • Sound knowledge on Imperva architecture.
  • Knowledge on Database (Oracle, MS SQL & Postgres.
  • Knowledge on secure Sphere System Administration.
  • Knowledge on Basic Unix CLI & Windows Operating Systems.
  • Good to have knowledge of Shell Scripting and ITIL framework.
  • Good to have F5 web access firewall knowledge as well.
  • Experience in working in collaborative environment.
  • Strong conceptual and creative skills.
  • Ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills for refining existing concepts or developing new approaches.
  • Ability to enable changes in the business processes and ability to work cooperatively with stakeholders and peers is essential.
  • Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
