Purpose of the Job:

  • Implementation and follow-up of the Requirement Management process.
  • Establish traceability of compliance to technical requirement focusing on:
    • ​​​Contract execution and fulfilment of the customer's requirements.
    • Development and fulfilment of technical requirements emerging all along the Engineering process

  • Hierarchical reporting to the Department heads / RM Group Managers

  • Product Manager

  • Project/Product Contract Manager

  • Quality Department

​​​​​​​​​​​​​Main Responsibilities:

  • The Requirement Manager is responsible for application of the Requirements Management process within his scope:
  • Support tools implementation
  • Provide support (tools and process) to the process users (SYS Engineers, ...)
  • Follow up status of Requirements (allocation, acceptance by Sub-Systems, coverage,)
  • Manage Requirements configuration
  • Report Requirements coverage and status to Project management
  • Liaise with client/Consortium through Doors
  • Support consistency analysis (in coordination with the System Engineering Manager)
  • Support change impact analysis (in coordination with the Configuration Manager)
  • In this framework, the Requirements Engineer shall manage the (technical) requirements of the project and to contribute to identify inconsistencies between those requirements and the project's plans and design outputs
  • Requirement Management scope is to manage:
    • Project requirements (covered by project plan), which will be dispatch to the management entities to be met.
    • Technical requirements (product requirements and operational requirements), during the whole product life cycle, from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) to the Final Quality Approval (FQA).
    • The Requirement Engineer will provide regular update on the level of compliance to the contract requirements. This will include reporting both internally and to the client.
