Full-time, Permanent (WFO position)
The Sr. Software Engineer is a hands-on role and responsible for the entire software development life cycle for applications being developed. We offer great work culture besides opportunities to work and learn from experienced professionals in India and US.

Since you will work on a product, there is also a possibility to travel to US to work with the tech team.


Responsibilities:
Design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications
Demonstrates understanding of departmental procedures, programming standards, and all pertinent training materials
Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate in a team setting
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project and ensure the highest quality code
Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, code quality automation and support continuous integration process.
Review and debug code
Determine the root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions
Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing
Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities
Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Work on core database structures and designs
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science or another relevant field
Minimum 7 years of programming experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of .NET 3.5 or above with C# (5 Years)
In-depth knowledge of ASP.NET MVC (5 Years)
In-depth knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, procedures in SQL Server 2008 (or later) (5 Years)
Experience with Telerik MVC or Kendo UI preferred
Working knowledge with ASP.NET Web Forms, TFS, Entity Framework, SSRS, SAP Crystal reports, jQuery, AngularJS, SOAP, and REST API
