Role Summary & Role Description
The Application Lead Developer will analyze, design, develop and maintain software in a client/server environment using tools like Core Java,Unix scripts,RDBMS-DB2/PLSQL/Oracle etc.
Should be able to work independely , need to perform as a full stack developer capable of doing L4 level support. Talk to the stake holders and understand the requirements interact with vendor team / contractors and engage successfully.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree required
10 + years of experience in development and good hands-on exposure to Java and related applications and RDBMS like oracle/DB2.
Good understanding of design patterns and architecture.
Understanding of Agile Engineering Practices.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to be open to discussion of potential options.
Should be good team player and have excellent communication skills.
Should have experience in debugging and resolving production issues by supporting Level 4 team.
Demonstrates solid knowledge of the overall software development life cycle including development, testing and deployment of all application modules.
