About the Role

This exciting position offers an opportunity to be part of a culturally diverse team, contributing significantly to our client promise in close collaboration with our global P&C Re Operations teams, Governance, ORM, GIA and external audits. As a key player in our Business Operations CoE, you will support data quality and risk management activities and initiatives, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of our core services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data quality frameworks and governance structures specific to the reinsurance industry.
  • Assess data quality risks, identify improvement areas, and strategize mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data quality initiatives with business goals.
  • Lead P closing activities for smoother operations with Reserving, Finance, and Support.
  • Solve queries as the first point of contact for DQRM and Governance.
  • Possess strong knowledge of RCSA control for operations and drive management discussions with suggestions.
  • Design and implement data quality controls, monitoring mechanisms, and assurance processes.
  • Support data governance enhancement initiatives and assist in GRACE/ORM tool handling & Governance reporting.
  • Provide guidance and training on data quality standards, tools, and methodologies.
  • Participate in audits, regulatory examinations, and risk assessments related to data quality and governance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data quality and risk management in strategic discussions.

About You:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in commerce, accounting, insurance, or equivalent field.
  • Professional Experience: Extensive experience in data quality and risk management within the reinsurance or insurance industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of data governance, quality frameworks, and regulatory requirements like GDPR and Solvency II.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data quality issues, identify causes, and develop solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
  • Proactive Nature: Great teammate living multi-functional collaboration with a global mentality. You are used to working independently, balancing multiple conflicting priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
