You will be working as IS Project Manager and will be part of IS Services for IS Domains division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to IS Manager and will be responsible for responsible to define a planning strategy that includes a full list of activities that are important for the management of project, to decide on a project delivery methodology (waterfall, agile, etc.) and to align with stakeholders. Also, defining the scope of the project and develops the project schedule accordingly

Your responsibilities
  • Planning, scheduling, coordinating and delivering the IS project outcomes within agreed time, scope, cost and agreed quality. Defining the scope of work, cost, budget, resources required, time schedule and detailed work allocation, in coordination with key stakeholders
  • Coordinating and prioritizing project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans and communicates the status to key stakeholders. Defining all project documents (jointly with key stakeholders) including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans
  • Organizing, monitoring and controlling activities to ensure achievement of planned stage-gates and efficient utilization of available resources. Ensuring that all project related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, project objectives, applicable quality standards, safety requirements, cost and scheduling targets
  • Monitoring and controlling project cost and financials. Identifying, containing and reducing risk and ensures that all opportunities are captured and acted upon. Uses knowledge and experience to forecast contingencies at the initial stages of the project, assessing the availability of information and the risks and issues that may arise during the project and to decide on the best approach to proceed
  • Monitoring and controlling the project management processes and progress and proactively manages and mitigates project risks. Responsible for project financials, oversees project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. Ensuring the successful completion of every project and captures and documents the lessons learned
  • Executing IS project communications and reports IS project performance against the plan and expected business outcome. Conducting IS project assessments and gate passing assessments in their domain of expertise
  • Serves as the key contact for the project stakeholders and an escalation point for project issues. Communicating appropriate information to stakeholders promptly to achieve desired understanding and supporting and effectively manages stakeholders' expectations and relationships
Your background
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related technical field
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience with team management experience and extensive experience with managing IS project role
  • Good to have certification on ITIL and PMP Preferred
  • Experience in defining main guidelines, delegating responsibilities, sets performance targets and monitors progress to accomplish the tasks and milestones as per agreed quality and performance criteria
  • Experience in allocating responsibilities and packages of work to the team, including supervisory responsibilities
  • Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility to define solutions and ensure alignment
