Job overview and responsibilities
Our PSS-team is responsible for developing and maintaining our Passenger Service System (PSS), which is the heart of any airline and runs mission-critical and highly complex modules such as Seats, Inventory, Reservations, and the Day-of-Departure customer processes Our team is building new PSS system using the latest digital technologies and digital infrastructure to provide our customer the best digital experience in the industry.
We have a developer role open in our team who will plan, design, develop and launch efficient systems and solutions in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments.
Design, develop and modify software applications/systems according to specificationsConsults with Business Analysts and business partners on potential software solutions for business specificationsProvides support to the software development leads (Senior Developer) during the design portion of the SDLCSupport and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutionsDevelop appropriate software documentation as outlined in development frameworkComplete comprehensive unit testing on all developed/enhanced softwareWorks on one or more projects; may work as a project leaderThis position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications
Required:
4 or more years of experience with .NET technologies especially with .NET 62 or more years of experience with Solace/Kafka/MQ – Event driven architecture and messaging systems2 or more years of experience with NoSQL Datastores – DynamoDB preferred2 or more years of experience with Unix/Linux experience2 or more years of experience with Oracle, MySQL, RDBMS experienceGood knowledge of Code Repositories such as GitHubExposure to Continuous Integration & Continuous DeploymentExposure to applications performance monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor, Data DogPreferred:
