Sr. Battery Test Engineer Engineer Bangalore

Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the design of experiments & fixtures, while conducting, recording, and reporting all battery-related test work.

Be able to demonstrate technical excellence and apply first-principal engineering to new applications.

Be excited to work as part of a close-knit and cohesive team to deliver an outstanding high-voltage architecture.

Be Excited to prepare the DFMEA, DVP&R, do RCA & FTA.

Support design team /battery prototyping /Battery production team for required input.

Qualification:
Diploma in Mechatronic /E &E/ Mechanical or equivalent (5~7) yr. Experience) & BE/B. Tech in Mechatronic /E &E/ Mechanical or equivalent (3~ 6 Yr. relevant experience)


Must have excellent working knowledge with high voltage Li-ion battery pack, module & cell level robust validation in terms of electrical-overcharge/ force discharge/short circuit, imbalance charging, shutdown integrity, functional, safety, mechanical, thermal, environmental, abuse usage condition etc.

Must have excellent working experience of developing DVP considering various IS, AIS,EUROPEAN & SAE standards & internal Pravaig Standards.

Must have working experience of tear down analysis to verify DUT after test and record the changes.


Must have experience of DMM, Battery cell insulation tester/ Megger, Oscilloscope, vibration shaker, climatic chamber, module tester, cell tester & battery pack tester etc.

Should be interested in vehicle level validation & testing.

Should be able to validate the BMS functionality.

Experience of battery prototyping will be helpful.

Ability to demonstrate a competent knowledge of electrical theory & mechanical structural failure theory.

Ability to design the required fixture & basic fabrication.

A history of working independently with limited oversight or input once a base understanding has been established.

Ability in data logging & signal processing for CAN data /temperature data.

Knowledge of temperature and CAN data logger will be helpful.
