You will be working as Quality Engineer at global grade 15 and will be part of Electrification business Area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Quality Manager and will be responsible for supporting the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations.

Your responsibilities
  • Responsible for QA or QC of products and processes in all stages of manufacturing, assembly or testing and final delivery
  • Planning and performing or participating in quality audits or process audits
  • Coordinating quality activities and driving ABB methodologies such as 4Q
  • Constantly striving for minimizing or eliminating CCRPs and acting as coordinator for quick response to CCRPs
  • Ensuring that required quality activities are established in SAP QM module and update master data whenever required
  • Ensuring proper documentation and standardization of procedures related to all inspection and quality activates with respect to ISO
  • Proactively closing all deviations with respect to quality systems
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field
  • Hands on experience on SPC, problem solving techniques and tools
  • Basic knowledge of the high voltage switchgear product is preferable and basic knowledge of SAP-QM module
  • Lead Auditor course will be an added advantage
  • Should be a strong in team building and driving continuous improvement projects with cross functional colleagues
