*Position Overview:* We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary
Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher to join our passionate team of educators. The
successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational
journey of our young learners, instilling a love for learning and
facilitating their growth in a stimulating and nurturing environment.

*Key Responsibilities:* As a Primary Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher at Ruh
Continuum School, you will:

*Curriculum Delivery:*

* Implement the Cambridge Pathway and IB curriculum in a creative and
engaging manner.
* Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the
school's educational goals and standards.
* Foster a love for learning by creating a dynamic and inclusive classroom
environment.

*Classroom Management:*

* Establish a positive and respectful classroom culture that encourages
student participation and collaboration.
* Manage classroom behavior and address any disciplinary issues in a fair
and consistent manner.
* Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

*Student Assessment:*

* Conduct ongoing formative and summative assessments to evaluate student
progress.
* Track and analyze student performance data to identify areas for
improvement and implement targeted interventions as needed.
* Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic and
behavioural developments.

*Parent and Community Engagement:*

* Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
through regular meetings, newsletters, and conferences.
* Participate in school events and community activities to foster a sense of
belonging and collaboration.
* Professional Development:
* Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on
educational trends, teaching methodologies, and curriculum enhancements.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a
supportive and innovative teaching community.

*Positive Disciplining and Constructive Language Approach:*

* Implement positive disciplining strategies that promote a nurturing and
respectful classroom environment.
* Utilize constructive language and communication techniques to guide and
redirect student behaviour.
* Encourage self-awareness and self-regulation among students, helping them
develop essential life skills.
* Model and teach conflict resolution techniques that emphasize empathy and
compromise.

*Qualifications:*

* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree
preferred).
* A degree or certification in Child Psychology is a plus.
* Valid teaching certification.
* Previous experience teaching in a primary or elementary school setting.
* Familiarity with the Cambridge Pathway and IB curriculum is a plus.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full
potential.
